Naturschönheit (Natural Beauty)

Zweigelt: 18-year-old vineyard with poor gravel soil.
St. Laurent: 13-year-old vineyard with gravel soil and loamy subsoil.
The grapes were harvested by hand and selected directly during the harvest. Each variety was vinified separately, but according to the same scheme: The mash was turned over partly pneumatically in stainless steel fermentation tanks and partly by hand in open vats. Maceration time: 8 days. The malolactic fermentation and further aging of the Naturschönheit as a cuvée took place in large and small wooden barrels.
