24-year-old vineyard with poor, limestone-rich gravel soil in the Zeiselberg vineyard.

The Blaufränkisch grapes were selectively harvested by hand. The must was turned over by hand and left to macerate for 21 days. Malolactic fermentation and further aging took place in 500-liter barrels. Only minimal sulphur was added during vinification.
