Notes

It all begins in the vineyard. 30-year-old Blaufränkisch on Zeiselberg, 45-year-old Zweigelt on Rosenberg. Two vineyards, two characters. Calcareous soil provides tension, loamy-sandy subsoil provides richness. Old vines give the wine calm and substance.

Harvested and selected by hand. The wine is aged as a cuvée for 24 months in large and small wooden barrels.
