Root white

Stony grip, salty length, chalky tension, and fine tannin structure. No embellishment, only terroir.
Notes
ROOT stands on solid foundations. Thirty-year-old vines on barren gravel, with clay underneath.
Soil first, variety second. Chardonnay and Neuburger are not considered aromatic, but structural. Light skin contact adds texture, while flint and cool tension carry the wine.
Harvested by hand, crushed by foot. Clean, unadulterated, natural.
A wine between its origins and the present. Barbara Hareter (1885–1976) laid the roots. We dig deeper.
