Intense black berry fruit on the nose (nuances of blackberries) and fine silica touch. On the palate, the Blaufränkisch looks stuffy, has a good complexity and is very elegant with fine acidity; mineral-salty reverberation.


15 year old vines, refined on the root stock SO4, grown on the barren gravel soil with loamy subsoil of the vineyard Zeiselberg.


Selected by hand in September 2015, selective harvest of individual vines; spontaneous fermentation on the mash at 25 to 28 ° C, open fermentation, supported by hand, maceration time 28 days, malolactic fermentation in 500 l barrel; unfined, unsulphured and bottled unfiltered, corked and hand-waxed.
