A very typical organic Blaufränkisch: a cool, juicy, dark fruit (blueberry) in the nose, with plenty of spicy herbs. The palate is graceful and elegant, tastes of dark berries and some menthol.

22-year-old vines, barren gravel soil with loamy subsoil

Harvest by hand in September 2017, spontaneous fermentation on the mash in a steel tank, mash circulation with pneumatic punch, mash time 21 days, malolactic fermentation and aging in a large wooden barrel
