22-year-old vineyard with poor, chalky gravel soil and loamy subsoil.
The Blaufränkisch grapes were selectively harvested by hand. Maceration was carried out pneumatically in stainless steel fermentation tanks; maceration time: 5 days.
 Malolactic fermentation and further aging took place in large wooden barrels. Only minimal sulphur was added during vinification.
