... it needs the more generous space, indeed, and uses it just as much, red-blue-wow! the timbre, starts with wild forest berries, dark & juicy, blood orange, cool moss, tree resin, as ethereal as esoteric, confidently turns up the volume with meaty-spicy tones à la bulgogi beef & soy sauce – pure umami, cubeb pepper, nutmeg, star anise, tobacco from Fidel Castro's hands, a revolutionary through & through, with a free spirit and uncompromising attitude, amplified merely by the aromatic echo of its densely structured resonance body, all of which it protests with deeply relaxed 11.5 beats per minute, and at the same time with a finely chiseled, animatingly delicate suspense, as if Jean-Pierre Melville directed it, this is vinophile film noir, gotta be seen on the big screen, perky cassis & bittersweet plum jam in the startling end credits, what an alternative, purist, happy-go-lucky interpretation, I quote a baffled co-taster:
"This wine is a cheek", in the truest - & most positive - sense of the word, and "sassiness rules", as we all know. Update: 499.
Goes well with:
An advanced parallel tasting "Fruit bombs & wood soups from around the world vs. BF Dulnhe" //
Roasted potpourri of mushrooms & wild herbs on organic rice from the Seewinkel area with spiced berry foam //
Grilled sirloin / strip loin steak from free-range ox on pappardelle with chanterelle, green asparagus, tomatoes from Burgenland, Aceto Balsamico cream ///
